Grey & olive…not the most “springy” of color combos, but I’m not really a springy color kind of gal. I like winter hues, dark colors and jewel tones. I like neutrals. Every once in a while, I find a bright-colored item that I like, but it’s not what I gravitate towards when I shop. So in a time where mint and coral jeans or neon accents are all over the place, I’m hyper aware of my own color pallet, and how tame it is. You know, I remember when colored jeans and neon were super in style. When I was in the 7th grade I had a pair of jeans in every single color. In the third grade I wore neon pink biker shorts with a neon green, white and pink top. My socks and hair tie matched too. I already lived through the 90s. I guess it’s true that style comes back around every 15 years or so. And it’s interesting to see the forms it takes on in its new iteration, and reminisce about where you were and how you wore it back when. But wearing it again…feels weird… I may need more time, or I may just skip on bringing it back on this go ’round. We’ll see.
